Foods to Combat Asthma and Rhinitis

"Patients with asthma and allergic rhinitis may benefit from hydration 'lots of water] and a diet low in sodium, omega-6 fatty acids 'as in common vegetable oils,] and transfatty acids 'check the label on margarine and packaged foods,] but high in omega-3 fatty acids, I.e., 'Northern non-farm fed] fish, almonds, walnuts, pumpkin, and flax seeds'.] And, onions, fruits and vegetables (at least five servings a day)." Emphases added.
