CLA Inhibits Cancer
"CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) is found in foods such as beef and lamb as well as dairy foods derived from these 'cattle] sources.

'Numerous ...properties have been attributed to CLA including action as an anti-carcinogenic, anti-atherosclerotic...and anti-diabetic agent. In addition, CLA modulates immunity and thrombosis 'coagulation or  clotting of the blood in heart vessels]...

"CLA may reduce 'substances in the body] such as PGE2*..'and] reduce tumor 'growth] in 'colon and skin...and COX 1 and/or 2**, also potentially harmful.] Ed. note--all of these are also inhibited by aspirin.

"In summary, an inverse relationship has been observed between CLA accumulation and outcomes of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. However, a preventive 'emphasis added] role for CLA in human cancer (breast and possibly others) is still unproven."

*Prostaglandin E2
**Cyclooxygenase

DETAILS: One might add milk to coffee to gain some CLA. Note that totally non-fat milk has no CLA.
