Powerful Aspirin Derivative for Head and Neck Cancer Patients
"The effects of the addition of indomethacin 'an aspirin spin-off, or
NSAID, but more powerful. It requires a prescription,] to 'stimulated
lymph cells] from patients with untreated squamous cell carcinoma of the
head and neck or from patients with the disease who have just finished
irradiation therapy from the disease was 'evaluated.] These were
compared to those of the control group 'those not given indomethacin.]
Lymphocytes 'body defensive cells] from eight of 26 patients with
untreated carcinoma were significantly augmented by the addition of
indomethacin. 'Their defense against the carcinoma was strengthened.]
The remaining eighteen patients were equal to the controls 'no benefit.]
"For all 17 patients
who had just finished extensive field irradiation therapy, significant
enhancement of stimulation by indomethacin was found... 'There was more,
also highly technical data presented.]
"The results of this
study support the hypothesis that perhaps patients receiving irradiation
therapy may benefit by the oral administration of indomethacin..."

DETAILS: Why
bring this up when it is obviously not current? Because we want to
indicate that aspirin has long been helpful as an adjunct to invasive
and toxic chemical therapy, and has been found for over twenty years
to be an effective tool against cancer. Note that this powerful aspirin
derivative was helpful before the radiation treatment. The one
above is merely one of hundreds of reports to this effect. But only now
has the truth been seeping through.
