Throat Infections Including Tonsils upper respiratory infections Biofilms Scientists in Italy have reported that upper respiratory infections are often caused by a community of microbes called "Biofilms." They say that that these "biofilms"are "quite diffuse entities frequently found in human [illness] conditions."

So how to counteract these "biofilm" infections?

A big help, they have found, is that these "biofilm" infections are broken down by a nutrient, NAC, N-acetylcysteine.

NAC is available in health food stores, many drug stores and from mail order vitamin distributors like Swanson's Vitamins and Puritan's Pride.
