Crohn's Disease Report
From a popular web site, "Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Prevention.
There is no way known to prevent inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)."

Hogwash! THEY DON'T KNOW ANY BECAUSE THEY DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO STUDY MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH. POSSIBLY THEY ONLY GO BY WHAT THE DRUG COMPANIES AND OTHER SELF-SERVING PEOPLE TELL THEM.

From Chirug, Jan. 2000 (in German) by Drs. Neurath and Schurmann, Johannes Gutenberg U., Mainz.

"Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD: Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis) are chronic inflammatory and frequently relapsing diseases of the gut that ultimately lead to destruction of the intestinal tissue," they say. Already we learn something. These are inflammatory diseases. They then list inflammatory chemicals in our systems that are the targets for therapy. They include TNF (tumor necrosis factor.)

So? If you want to reduce your risk of these diseases, you might try eating the foods that reduce TNF, which include green tea. What about those who already have any of these problems? We do not advise or prescribe. But we will over time, mention the scientific work in this area about the use of foods. And always get the okay from your physician.
