Focus--Diverticulitis
Severe, cramping abdominal pain that is usually more severe on the left
side. Nausea. Fever. Constipation, thin stools, diarrhea. Pain in the
lower left part of the abdomen that increases when the sore spot is
touched. Call physician if you have fever, chills, and
abdominal swelling, or are vomiting. Possible
peritonitis,
an infection of the membrane that lines the abdominal cavity.
Call physician
immediately.
If
blood appears in stools (internal bleeding) Call physician.
