Scientists at The U. of Wisconsin, the U. of Minn., and the U. of N.
Carolina collaborated on human studies to see if diabetic retinopathy, which
could lead to blindness would be helped by taking E & C vitamins. Studying
the patients for up to six years, they found "....no overall association
between 'the disease] and 'vitamin E or C] was found...."
