Prescription Drug Use Finds High Proportion of Preventable Adverse

Journal of the American Medical Assn., 'AMA] found that
42% of adverse
drug
events
judged to be 'serious, life-threatening or fatal' were deemed
preventable....
"The
research involved an examination in 1999-2000 'released in 2003] of
nearly 28,000 Medicare enrollees in a New
England medical group practice." Emphasis added.

DETAILS:
For our part, it reinforces our attitude that doctors make too many
mistakes. They are not Gods, although many patients treat them as such. When
facing treatment, it may be advisable to find out what medical science has
discovered since the doctor left medical school. And especially what foods,
vitamins and herbs have been PROVEN to be helpful.
