THIS FOOD DOES SO MUCH, COSTS SO LITTLE AND HAS NO SIDE EFFECTS.

"Inulin...'a carbohydrate...that] is found in many plants and vegetables (e.g., chicory and Jerusalem artichoke)...Inulin is counted as a prebiotic because it is not susceptible to digestion...'thereby not adding calories]...The functional effects of inulin on humans and experimental animals include relief of constipation, lower blood glucose levels, improved absorption of calcium, reduced...triglycerides 'good] and reduced LDL cholesterol 'also a beneficial action] and inhibition of the growth of various kinds of cancer."  Emphases added.
