and migraines
Recently we've been asked for something, anything that would ward off migraine headaches. So, we dug up an article in the Wall Street Journal, 8-3-88 (originally in Lancet, the British medical journal) reporting that the herb feverfew helps.
However, it also cautioned that "so-called homeopathic preparations didn't contain any feverfew at all." And further, that some other feverfew capsules sold in health food stores didn't contain the real thing.
So what's a migraine sufferer to do? On thing would be to find out whether
your headaches are more serious medically. Get an exam. Second would be to
try out different preparations from the store or from mail-order
distributors. Good luck!
