Are Statins
Dangerous?
The medical journal Neurology*
has reported that 'there were] significant
associations between statin 'cholesterol-lowering drugs] use and
peripheral neuropathy 'functional disturbances and/or pathological
changes in the nervous system] shown in a clinical study of patients.
Previously, myopathy 'diseases of muscles] have been widely reported in
medical journals as also being caused by statins.
