Aspirin
Vs. Other Drugs
In
long-term trials of patients with atrial fibrillation (irregular, often
rapid heart muscle contraction,) scientists studied the overall results
and concluded that aspirin was slightly better than other drugs of the
antiplatelet type. Aspirin is considered to be an anti-coagulate
(clogging) drug.
