PANCREATITIS vs. CURCUMIN
"Treatments for pancreatitis 'pancreas inflammation] are limited."
The
researchers did their own study using
curcumin,
a spice used to color (Asian) Indian and Hispanic foods and concluded,
"...that
curcumin,
which is currently in clinical trials for cancer prevention, may be useful for treatment of
pancreatitis, whether it was caused by alcohol or non-alcohol conditions.
