Osteoporosis
and Men
"The bone protective effects of soy protein in men have not been
investigated 'until now,]" scientists* report.
They studied 64 healthy
men, half of whom were given soy protein and half milk casein (protein.)
The results over a three-month period clearly showed that "The
findings.... suggest that soy protein may be beneficial to the skeletal
health of men...."
