Androstenedione for Middle-Aged Men?

"Objective: To examine 'beginning] hormonal concentrations and 'the body's] response with 28 days of androstenedione supplementation...Editor's Note: Andro increases testosterone.

"No changes were found for lipids 'fats and fat-like substances insoluble in water], resting heart rate, or blood pressure, weight or percentage body fat. Emphasis added.

"Conclusion: ...continued supplementation is characterized by a diminished treatment response, coupled with...increases in testosterone precursors but not testosterone.
