You Can Overdo Taking Copper

The journal DNA Cell Biology* has revealed that copper, while an essential trace element, "can be extremely toxic when taken to excess.... 'and] may be involved in the 'causation] of.... such diseases as Alzheimer's, ....amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 'Lou Gehrig disease] and others.

DETAILS: The current suggested dose is 2 milligrams (mg.) a day, though one taking zinc supplements might increase that to 3 milligrams.
