"To investigate whether tea consumption has an association with ovarian cancer, a  .... study was conducted in China during 1999-2000 'it was assembled and published in 2002.] The cases were 254 patients with ....confirmed ovarian cancer. Controls 'non-cancer afflicted persons] numbered 652 and included hospital visitors and individuals recruited from the community. The ovarian cancer risk declined with increasing frequency and duration of overall 'green] tea consumption. 'It was 60% less risk] for those drinking tea daily....and 'about 80% less risk] for those drinking tea for 30 years.

We concluded that increasing frequency and duration of tea drinking, especially green tea, can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer."
