Green Tea or a Drug for Multiple Sclerosis?

Incomplete facts are rampant in the popular media. Today's newspapers revealed that a drug for MS*, Tysabri (t.m.) was dropped, at least temporarily because of certain side effects--like death! Not mentioned was the fact that MS is precipitated by what is called in medical science, "a highly inflammatory cytokine," namely, TNFa*. Of course, one could take Tysabri (before being withdrawn by the F.D.A.,) or a similar drug with its own side effects. But it should have been revealed that apparently green tea has been PROVEN to reduce TNFa. Side effects from green tea? None.

So the morbid fascination with drugs as opposed to medical science's findings with foods rumbles on.
