What the Amino Acid 'Protein] Workshop Found

The report of the world scientific conference on protein was published in The Journal of Nutrition, a publication of the American Society for Nutritional Sciences, vol. 133, 2003.

"The group felt that there were indications that excessive amount of amino acids 'protein] could cause harm but that the data were too sparse to set actual amounts. To be quite frank, very little time was devoted to this issue..." Said in conclusion by Drs. Cybnobar and Young, Nutrition Dept., Paris 5 U. and Biochem. Lab., Hotel-Dieu Hosp., Paris, and Lab. of Human Nutrition, Mass. Inst. Of Technology, Cambridge, MA 02139, respectively.
