There appears to be some correlation between Restless Leg Syndrome and sleep apnea. And both, according to research in the journal Muscle & Nerve, are due to the proliferation of capillaries (angiogenesis.)
The substance in the blood that initiates angiogenesis is VEGF, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, which the scientists confirm. Using Alternative Medicine established by other scientific journals, the substance Genistein, found in Soy Beans inhibits VEGF and might be used to treat Restless Leg Syndrome and possibly Sleep Apnea, if one were open to Alternative Medicine.
