VITAMIN D, MULTIPLE
SCLEROSIS (MS) AND WOMEN
The medical scientists
observed that there appeared to be a protective role for vitamin D against
the risk of Multiple Sclerosis 'MS], but that no on-going studies have
been reported. They thus proceeded by analyzing the Nurses Health
Study--of
92,253 women.

"CONCLUSION:
These results support a protective effect of vitamin D on risk of
developing
Multiple Sclerosis

DETAILS: Woman should be very cautious about taking vitamin D supplements
totaling more than 1000 milligrams a day. That might cause loss of calcium
in the body.
