Garlic
As A Multi-purpose Health Food
"Garlic has long been used as a spice, 'while scientific studies
have shown it to lower blood sugar levels] and have 'anticancer and
antitumor] properties," began a report in the Journal of
Nutrition*. Noted also is its ability to reduce harmful triglycerides in
the blood. But the big news now is that garlic DECREASED BODY FAT
(emphasis added) in experimental
animals.
